KUKU CONNECT CELEBRATE AT BELVOIR CASTLE

Over 300 guests joined local businesses from across the region along with representatives of Her Majesty The Queen, Diplomats, Civic Leaders and community organisations at Belvoir Castle to celebrate the success and innovation of the business community in the East Midlands to mark the 2nd birthday of KuKu Connect.

Lexus cars chauffeured guests up to the castle where they were greeted by the Duke and Duchess’ own Piper. Guests were received in the Guards Hall with a roaring fire and Aperol Spritz cocktails by the Farmhouse at Mackworth. The evening continued in the castle’s stunning State Rooms, made all the more beautiful by flowers from Essentially Floral and the delicate playing of harpist Harriet Flather. Delicious canapés and smoked Venison were served by the Butler’s Pantry Derby where guests connected in the Ballroom and Picture Gallery.

The Duchess congratulated KuKu Connect for bringing businesses together and their successful year and how Belvoir was proud to be a Member of the KuKu Connect Community. The Lord-Lieutenant, Mr Michael Kapur, OBE toasted KuKu Connect and thanked local businesses for their contribution to local economies and the wider community.

An array of stunning birthday cakes were made by Tree House Cakes of Loughborough which provided a wonderful pudding, followed by the very moreish Big Melt gourmet cheese toasties, topped off by the divine Cocoa-Amore chocolatier, accompanied by fresh 200 Degrees Coffee. Tailors, Crow & Jester and hat maker, Rebecca Couture Millinery joined the evening giving the evening a touch of bespoke luxury, along with luxury goody bags and a copy of the new KuKu Connect Almanac which were designed by KuKu Creative and printed by PrintPrint in Leicester.

A fabulous evening and celebration of businesses; we would like to thank all those businesses who attended, all our sponsors, charity donors, Suzanne Fells Photography for our annual KuKu portraits and particularly to GEC Luxury Design & Build, PrintPrint, Hanif and Rubina Lokat, Saul Morgan, Suzanne Suthers, Lumbers, Kathie and Graham Goddard, Talash Hotels Group, Everards, Stacey Ferguson, Belvoir Castle, H.M. Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire and our fab hostess the Duchess of Rutland.
