Derby Photographers Shortlisted for National Award with Image Celebrating City’s First Gin Distiller
Derby-based photographers Julia Dallimore and Adam Jackson of JaxMore Creative Photography have been shortlisted for the prestigious British Photography Awards 2025.
Their shortlisted image features Withers Gin, Derby’s first gin distiller, captured in JaxMore’s Derby studio. The photograph highlights both the brand and the city’s achievements, blending striking bottle design with the energy of a freshly poured gin and tonic.
The recognition from the British Photography Awards judging panel puts JaxMore Creative Photography on the national stage, and the next step is the public vote.
Adam Jackson said: “We wanted this image to do more than showcase a product. It’s about celebrating Derby – its creativity, its innovation, and its craft. To be shortlisted for such a respected award is an honour, and now we’d love the support of the public to help bring this home for Derby.”
Voting is open now via the British Photography Awards website. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on 3rd November.
