About our host

BOX Nottingham is a dynamic sports bar and kitchen located in a beautifully restored Grade II listed building at the corner of Thurland Street and Pelham Street. Spanning 16,000 square feet over two floors, it can accommodate up to 650 guests. The venue seamlessly blends historic architectural features with modern amenities, including a 17-metre-long bar, a two-metre-wide mirror ball, and a “disco tunnel” activated by a press of a button. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy live events on 35 HD screens, including a massive 2×3 metre LED screen, while engaging in games like shuffleboard and electric darts.

Beyond sports, BOX offers a vibrant social scene with live bands and DJs every Friday and Saturday night. Thursdays feature “Bandeoke,” where patrons can sing alongside a live band. The second floor houses private karaoke rooms and event spaces named “The Bow” and “The Arrow.” The menu caters to diverse tastes with gourmet burgers, kebabs, salads, and local specialties like the Stilton Burger and Notts Totts. What is a KuKu Connect Reception like?

KuKu Connect Receptions are relaxed and informal and may not be like the typical networking events you have attended. Our ’no pitches, no presentations and no push’ approach gives you the opportunity to talk to whoever you want to, when you want to. You can come and go as you please and we will not ask you to stand up and pitch in front of everyone.
