Maureen Richardson –
I write to advise you about my experience of working with PMAN Consulting. I have known the Managing Director for over 12 years where we worked together in a care organisation focussing on clients with learning disability, brain injury and high level risk management needs. There was a notable person-centered focus on the way risk assessment and management plans were designed and delivered on.
The individual concerned (Paul Westwick) was a very well respected staff member who was known for his attention to detail, thorough analyses of risk situations, responsiveness to some very demanding situations and taking the lead with compliance matters with our regulators. A further outstanding feature was the ability to share knowledge and teach staff at any level across the organisation from support staff to senior managers how to manage compliance, risk and associated matters.
I have since worked again with Paul in his own business. I have found that there is a very high level of attention to detail in terms of legislation and compliance. I have found that the training materials used have been high quality and tailored to my organisation’s needs. The staff who have been taught have also had their competency tested which gave me further reassurance than I would have expected.
They are a responsive and reactive business that I have been able to access very quickly, give advice and support to me when I have needed it in relation to regulatory issues. I have never had a problem with geography in that I have used their services in the North of Scotland to Torquay in the south of England. The advice I have had has been sensible and pragmatic as well as keeping an eye on our outgoing costs. I have required a very quick turnaround on some matters and was able to achieve the outputs I needed well within budgetary parameters as well as regulatory timescales.
In terms of cost, I would say that there is value for money in what is offered. They are a very high-quality, cost-effective organisation that I use regularly for my health and safety needs in the workplace, and have no hesitation in recommending PMAN Consulting to you.
Ruth Roper –
We have been extremely pleased with the work of Paul Westwick (PMAN CONSULTING) who was bought in at short notice with tight timescales to assist in the business critical project to obtain ISO 9001:2015. With a new organisational structure for quality management, we initially needed a gap analysis on a number of sites across several divisions to help us achieve certification. From his knowledge, he quickly understood our requirements to give us a quick understanding of what was required allowing us to achieve certification in the timescale required.
Richard Ardis –
From day one, Paul wasn’t just an “outside consultant.” He integrated seamlessly into our team, taking the time to understand our unique operations and challenges. They became a familiar face, not just in the training room, but on the warehouse floor, with forklift drivers and chatting with pickers, all while subtly weaving safety awareness into every conversation.
Their expertise is undeniable. Thorough and compassionate. Engaging and interactive, even for our most jaded veterans. But what truly sets Paul apart is their human touch. They don’t just tick boxes; they genuinely care about our people and their well-being, even being part of our Christmas party.
Paul does more than just following protocol; he offers genuine empathy and support, calming the situation and building trust that resonates throughout our fulfilment centre.
He’s helped us reduce incidents, boost morale, and create a culture where safety isn’t an afterthought, but a shared responsibility.
He’s a superhero in high-vis.
